I have been traveling around the world for over the half of my life. I always loved to visit new places and discover new adventures wherever I go. Also, when I travel, I like to stay healthy and to achieve that I must eat very healthy food no matter the destination. Healthy food was always a big part of my life and I wanted to visit some places and taste their healthy food because different cultures have a different diet that they prefer. So, over the many years of traveling, I have tasted a lot of different types of food and I would like to tell you about some of the experiences that I had.
How to Pack Food
Throughout my traveling experiences, I have realized that I don’t need to pack a large amount of food to bring with me because the majority will expire. Of course, the first few trips that I went on were different because I didn’t have any experience and nobody told me how to pack. Therefore, I was too scared that I would run out of food really fast, so I packed food enough for 2 weeks even if the trip was only one week. After the first few trips, I have realized that I don’t need to bring a lot of food with me because if I need I can buy it on the road.
I would highly recommend to everyone that is going on a trip to try the local healthy food. You will be surprised with the variety of tastes. Some places that I have visited such as India had very weird looking food, but when I tried it, it was nothing like I ever tasted. You will discover a whole new world of tastes and spices.
Important Healthy Snacks
I have realized that snacks are the best option you can bring with you if you are traveling. Always bring enough fruits with you but not too many because it is best to eat fresh fruits. While you are still home, make some of your favorite sandwiches and make them healthy with slices of different veggies.
